NORTH ISLAND, WISCONSIN PORT OF MILWAUKEE

AGW  MWKCZ Milwaukee, Wisconsin to Kansas City Double stack train doubles up his train while the Wisconsin Central freight arrives from Superior Wisconsin. Milwaukee Port Authority switcher an ex SP unit waits in the yard to resume switching. The MPA Railroad is jointly owned by the AGW and the BNP.

Wisconsin Central freight from Superior Wisconsin crosses the Milwaukee Ship Canal onto North Island. The Wisconsin Central acquired trackage right to the Milwaukee Poert Authority from the AGW to access the port.

Access to North Island is through the Milwaukee Ship Canal. North Island Heavy Lift, in the background, loads and unloads all kinds of finished goods and raw material for the Milwaukee and surounding area. This is the west end of the Milwaukee Port Authority yard.
