ATLANTIC AND GREAT WESTERN
RAILWAY COMPANY

Consolidated empty coal train southbound at Waukesha, Wisconsin.

In the background is the massive Champion Paper Company which rates its own AGW switch crew on two shifts.

My brother John's  Burlington Northern and Pacific has trackage rights on the AGW from Madison to North Island to access the carferry dock there.

Here BNP train #308 is east bound at Grand Junction in Waukesha.  #308 is entering the AGW main from Chicago to Milwaukee.

Waukesha, Wisconsin on the top level and the Madison, Wisconsin staging yard on the lower level.   They are connected by a wye and a helix.
